Eisele Flugdienst
Company history
1997
- Launch of EFD – Eisele Flugdienst GmbH by Alfred Eisele.
- The company’s first airplane was a twin-engine propeller plane of the type Piper Cheyenne PA-31 T1.
- After six months, the decision to use jets was confirmed with the purchase of a Citation CJ jet (C 525). The economic viability of this jet was convincing all around so that the future focus was to be on this type exclusively
1999
- Move of EFD into the newly-built Stuttgart airport terminal for general aviation and additional rental of hangar spaces for the airplanes.
- Expansion of the fleet with a second CJ.
2000
- Expansion of the fleet with a third CJ.
2001
- Replacement of a CJ with the CJ1 successor model.
- Rental of a second office at Stuttgart airport.
2002
- Replacement of a CJ with the delivery of the larger model CJ2 to EFD.
2003
- Inclusion of a second CJ2 into the company and purchase of a single-engine Cessna 182, which is used to transfer pilots to and from the Cessna service centers in Paderborn and Düsseldorf. Two CJ2s are in constant use after this.
2004
- Rental of a third office at Stuttgart airport, which is used for pilot flight preparation.
2006
- As of the end of 2006, one CJ2 is replaced with the new model CJ3.
2007
- In mid-2007, the fleet is expanded with a new CJ2+ that replaces the then used model CJ2. So the fleet is constantly upgraded and always kept up to date. This makes it possible to ensure the highest level of safety and flexibility.
